Expanded Use | Rolling Wedge

Frustrated by the limitation of your existing earthen material cutting hardware?

Let us help you with that.

Trench where it was previously un-economical.

When trenching through abrasive materials such as rock, trenching operators would have to choose the method that would provide the best results along with economical means, which were often very different goals. Rolling Wedge can assist trenching companies to achieve the parameters of their jobs without sacrificing the way they had to in the past.

Inefficiency is so... 2014.

It's a new year, aren't you ready to kick some butt and trench the impossible? It's fun to do the impossible... it shows that you are strong, have ingenuity and a "can do" attitude. That's what Rolling wedge is about. Stay tuned for a new way to trench. The possible and the impossible.

Think you've seen everything? You haven't.

Rolling Wedge is not a "me too" concept. It's proven and has gone through extensive engineering design and real-world testing. Boo-yeah!

Wedging material away, microscopically.

Tiny fissures in the material chips out of place in microscopic particles, allowing the Rolling Wedge to tackle problems that did not have a solution, previous to this groundbreaking invention. Again, Hagenbuch technology has found a problem and tackled it!

Mill and plane small jobs, efficiently.

Large jobs require purpose specific equipment to mill and plane, but when faced with smaller jobs, the Rolling Wedge Cold Planer can provide you with the ultimate flexibility you need. It attaches to your existing skidsteer or excavator and quick couplings attach to the hydraulic off-port to power the hydraulic motor that turns the milling drum.

Designed to work with your skidsteer or excavator.

Attaches to the existing forks or can be modified to accomodate a wide range of attachment options, the Rolling Wedge Cold Planer Attachment will help you get more out of your existing equipment. For jobs of all sizes.

Adjust for the depth you need - simply.

Can be adjusted in the field with simple hand tools to accomodate any depth from 0" - 4" with precision. The planer's speed will be dependent on the hydraulic system of the machine it's attached to; typical speeds are between 8" - 12" planed per minute.

Requires very minimal horse power or pressure.

Instead of taking the material that's being planed to it's compressive strength, the Rolling Wedge cutters simply chip material away. As the tensile strength of material being planed is less than it's compressive strength, the Rolling Wedge Cold Planer doesn't require large horse power or substantial pressure to mill material away. An added benefit of this process is an extended life for the cutters over traditional cutting teeth.
